She has exhibited in Corpus Christi, Kingsville, Austin, Round Rock, Lago Vista, and Georgetown. She is a member of the Williamson County Art Guild, Waterloo Watercolor Society, the Baca Center Art Club, and past member of the South Texas Art Association, Corpus Christi Art Guild and Lago Vista Art Association. Jean's preferred media includes acrylic, oils, airbrush and the most recent medium is watercolor monotype on yupo paper. She calls her style of painting Designed Realism: Stating creative and emotional qualities through strong composition, value, color and simplicity of design.

from the University of Texas in Austin. She has taught
art in public schools, college, studio painting, and
workshops.
