Ann Koziell and her husband,Ted, moved to Georgetown, Texas, in 2007. Since then she has been busy studying and creating art, traveling with her husband, visiting their family and enjoying the many wonderful people and activities in Texas. Ann and Ted have two daughters and four grandchildren.

Ann has been drawing and painting all her life, beginning formal art studies at the age of 16, and continuing her studies at schools and workshops throughout the country. She has studied with many artists including Judi Betts, Peter Spatero, Janet Rogers, Richard Hagan, Joanne Felt, and Suzanne Runyan.

Ann’s work has been selected for juried shows in Iowa, Missouri, Florida, Ohio, and Texas. Since moving to Texas she has won many awards in juried Sun City art shows. Her work can be found in public and private collections throughout the country and in England and France. Ann paints in oils and watercolor. In Texas she is a member of the Williamson County Art Guild and Visual Arts Club of Sun City. .

Artist’s Statement
"I enjoy seeing the beauty in the world around me–children, flowers, objects of art and nature, and scenery. In my paintings I endeavor to share this joy of beauty with the viewer, and I hope the viewer will be happier because of this experience. I like painting in oils and watercolors as well as drawing in pencil."
