During those years she earned a Master's degree in Art Education from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania. Jeanne has been an oil painter and art educator for 20 years.

She has studied under William Scott Jennings, Bob Rohm, Laurel Daniels, Philip Wade, Bill Lacy and Carol Marine. She is a member of the Williamson County Art Guild of Georgetown, TX and the Visual Arts Club of Sun City, TX where she teaches classes in oil painting at the art studio.

She currently divides her time between painting and playing her Mountain Dulcimer.

"When deciding what to paint, I try to connect with my subject on some level and then plan the composition using thumbnail sketches. After drawing the image on my canvas, I choose a limited palette of primary and secondary colors, repeating the use of these colors throughout the composition to create a sense of visual unity."
