Mary Beth is the current President (2009-2010) of the Williamson County Art Guild. She is also a member of The Central Texas Pastel Society, and The Austin Pastel Society. Mary Beth Martin was born in Chicago, raised in Indiana and Baton Rouge. She has enjoyed a lengthy career as a teacher from pre-school to high school and is currently an elementary art teacher at Summit Christian Academy's Leander campus.
She continues her studies taking many pastel workshops and currently is enjoying notoriety as a professional artist. She has had many award winning paintings. Mary Beth's art is frequently shown at different places around the Austin and Georgetown areas.
