I have been an artist since I was very young- I won a blue ribbon in my first Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo art contest when I was in 3rd grade. Crafts and coloring were my favorite hobbies in my youth. My parents and grandparents always supported me and encouraged me to be creative and to use my imagination. As I grew, so did my interest and talent. Through out my schooling I participated in various art clubs and classes and won many more blue ribbons. I have sold a few of my pieces, but I usually give my artwork as gifts to my friends and family. I attended college at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, TX on an Art scholarship and later changed my major to Interior Design. Currently, I have an Interior Design degree and am working towards my license, while I continue to pursue my love of the Arts. I enjoy all mediums of painting, sketching and drawing, photography, crafts, scrapbooking, sewing/quilting, and I still love to color! My favorite subjects to portray are people and nature, and I enjoy traveling- always with my camera! I have worked at an Interior Design firm for 2 years and an Architecture firm for 1 year, both in Houston. My dream is to have my own interior design business and to be a successful artist.
