Who We Are
The Williamson County Art Guild is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with over 140 members. The Guild is organized and operated for educational and charitable purposes. Its specific focus is to stimulate interest in art in Williamson County, Texas through art exhibits, artists' programs and sponsorship of scholarships and workshops.
Our members consist of people of all ages interested in promoting and participating in creative visual arts and crafts.
Underlying every Art Guild effort have been the goals of promoting interest in and encouragement of creative expression through education. WCAG's history demonstrates that the goals and aspirations of its
founders continue to be achieved enthusiastically and creatively by its members.
We are here to:Aid in the Development of skills and artistic abilities of our young people and community members interested in visual arts by providing workshops, seminars and allied activities.
Provide an opportunity for artists and artisans to publicly display their artwork.
Offer You the opportunity to participate by becoming a member - regardless of your skill levels or area of artistic interest.

The WCAG sponsors its own blog, which serves as an "internet bulletin board" for members to post current artwork and exchange ideas with other members.

Our General Membership Meetings are held at 6:30 P.M. On the first Tuesday of the month at the Windberg Art Center, 7100 N IH 35, Georgetown, Texas 78626

Art GalleriesWilliamson County Art Guild Gallery, located in The Framer's Gallery, 610 S. Main Street in Georgetown, just off the Square in historic downtown Georgetown. Art is hung on a monthly basis with a new show hung at the begining of each month. On First Fridays, there is a reception with all the showing artists in attendance and gallery visitors may vote for their favorite "People's Choice Award" selection.
The Wesleyan Nursing Home, located on Scenic Drive in Georgetown, across the street from St David's Hospital and the Post Office. Art hangs for 3 months at a time, with all art sales handled by the artists themselves.
St. Davids Hospital on Scenic Drive in Georgetown. This show runs for at least the month of February every year.
Georgetown Public Library show runs every September.
