Who We Are
The Williamson County Art Guild is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with over 140 members. The Guild is organized and operated for educational and charitable purposes. Its specific focus is to stimulate interest in art in Williamson County, Texas through art exhibits, artists' programs and sponsorship of scholarships and workshops.
Our members consist of people of all ages interested in promoting and participating in creative visual arts and crafts.

Our Mission
Underlying every Art Guild effort have been the goals of promoting interest in and encouragement of creative expression through education. WCAG's history demonstrates that the goals and aspirations of its founders continue to be achieved enthusiastically and creatively by its members.

We are here to:

  • Aid in the Development of skills and artistic abilities of our young people and community members interested in visual arts by providing workshops, seminars and allied activities.
  • Provide an opportunity for artists and artisans to publicly display their artwork.
  • Offer You the opportunity to participate by becoming a member - regardless of your skill levels or area of artistic interest.

    Monthly Meetings
    Our General Membership Meetings are held at 6:30 P.M. On the first Tuesday of the month at the Windberg Art Center, 7100 N IH 35, Georgetown, Texas 78626

    Downtown Art Gallery
    Our members are proud to display their works at our own Williamson County Art Guild Gallery, located in The Framer's Gallery, 610 S. Main Street in Georgetown, just off the Square in historic downtown Georgetown. Members hang their beautiful art on a monthly basis with a new show hung at the begining of each month. On First Fridays, there is a reception with all the showing artists in attendance and gallery visitors may vote for their favorite "People's Choice Award" selection.
